Crumling Consulting, LLC began in 2013 when Greg Crumling left the traditional public accounting arena and created his own business valuation and financial forensics services-focused firm.  Greg has over 35 years of experience in public accounting, with more than 30 years specifically in the areas of forensic, litigation and valuation consulting.

With the development and growth of Crumling Consulting came the need to expand.  In 2015, Nic Hoffmaster, who has been providing business valuation services since 2005, joined Crumling Consulting. Greg and Nic had been colleagues for a number of years in the past and are, again, collaborating to provide consulting services for business valuation and financial forensics needs in areas such as family law matters, employee stock ownership plans, business transactions, business succession planning, estate and gift tax and compliance, commercial disputes, and forensic investigations, to name just a few. In early 2018, Nic became a Member and the firm began doing business as Crumling & Hoffmaster.

Adriann Reed joined C&H in early 2021. With nearly 15 years of experience in public accounting, Adriann specializes in business valuation and litigation support services, forensic accounting, and collaborative practice services related to marital dissolution, as well as gift and estate planning, business planning, and shareholder disputes, complimenting the existing services of C&H.

Then, in January 2022, with the need to further expand to keep up with the increasing opportunities, Brinley Fromm joined Crumling & Hoffmaster, which brought the total number of professionals to four. Brinley came to C&H with over four years of business valuation and forensic analysis training, skills and experience.

In January of 2024, Adriann became a Member of the Firm. Since joining C&H, Adriann led significant growth in the firm’s financial forensics services in civil litigation matters while also contributing to the continued growth in assisting attorneys with business valuations and other financial services focused in family law matters.

As C&H continued to grow, Zach Stricker joined the team in December of 2024. Zach has been involved in business valuation since 2017, including valuing companies for purposes such as estate and gift tax reporting, management planning, business acquisitions, establishment of buy/sell agreements, succession planning, and litigation proceedings. He also has experience with ESOPs, shareholder buyouts, cash flow analysis, and forecasting.
